An information publication by Anna Maria Lab

Knowledge that matters. Beyond the laboratory.

Every article should be valuable to the reader, even if they never become a laboratory patient.

What the Journal is

Anna Maria Journal is the information magazine of Anna Maria Lab. We publish explanations of laboratory tests, meaningful scientific developments and practical everyday information in Albanian, English and Italian.

The studies belong to the cited authors and institutions. The Journal provides editorial explanation, does not claim authorship of the research and is not an academic peer-reviewed journal.

Visible sources, clear context

Basic explainers use institutional sources and reliable guidance. For research developments, we seek the original study or supporting official documentation. A promotional announcement alone is not enough.

We distinguish established knowledge from early research. Animal studies, preprints and preliminary results must be clearly identified. The event date is separate from our article’s publication date.

Sources appear alongside the relevant sections and at the end, with links and access dates. We write original summaries and check permissions before reusing others’ material.

How content is prepared

We summarise and analyse the listed sources, separating findings from editorial interpretation. Research articles identify the evidence type, population and limitations affecting the conclusion.

We do not invent authors, professional credentials or review labels. An information article does not provide a personal diagnosis or instruct readers to change treatment.

Images and illustrations

Conceptual illustrations are identified in captions. They interpret a topic visually and are not microscopy, experimental evidence or precise molecular models. Laboratory photographs are real. Data charts must be based on verifiable sources.

Our connection to the laboratory

Anna Maria Lab is the publisher, and this relationship is always stated. A link to a laboratory test is included when it provides useful practical information. It is not a condition of publication or a measure of an article’s value.

Updates and corrections

Each article shows its publication and update dates. Material corrections should explain what changed. To report an inaccuracy, send the article link, the statement and a clarifying source to [email protected].
